Hi! I’m Jacobé Huet.
I am a historian of modern architecture with a focus on the transcultural Mediterranean.
I hold the position of Assistant Professor of Modern Architectural History at the University of Chicago. I received my Ph.D. in history and theory of architecture from Harvard University in 2022.
My pronouns are she/her and my first name is pronounced “Ja-co-bey” (the first sound is a soft j, as in Jacques).
I was born near Marseille, grew up going back and forth between Paris and Marseille, and now live in Chicago. I love discussing these three cities. Feel free to contact me at jhuet[at]uchicago[dot]edu.
